Input needed please
Hi again,
I know it's been a while but is it OK because I've been sewing? I'm finishing up a bunch of quilts that I've been procrastinating about and I'll show you very soon (I promise).
I've also been working on a new quilt, which I am totally addicted to. I've ben english paper piecing similar to other people. Each of the stars are about 1 3/4". Each piece is also one of the fabrics I own - a little crazy I know, but I wanted it to be scrappy. The question that I need help with is what colour I should use for the background black
or white
There is also the question of setting where I can do diamonds as above or hexagons.
Please, please let me know what you like.

The black makes them "pop", but you can see each one better with the white...I know, I am no help. Sorry.
I think the stars sparkle more with the black.
definitely absolutely, i'd go with black. i'm in awe of your quilting talent. that's going to be so lovely!
Go go black! The hex vs diamond question is a litle harder - but the colours look great against the dark background.
I would definitely prefer a black background. It will make the stars pot out. And I think diamonds would be fine. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt!
I just found your blog through the TIF challenge page. I am in awe of these tiny blocks! I'm looking forward to following this little quilt.
